Q. Which events can I apply for?

A. You can apply for as many events as you wish. However the company is a “collective of friends" and as such act like a family - which is built on trust, reliability and commitment. Do not apply unless you are 100% committed to supporting the event and the team. Failure to do so affects future applications.

Q. How do I apply?.

A. Once you have signed up with Fest Buddies and have the DBS and ACT certificates you can then express interest in supporting the Events. You only need to Sign up once, but you do have to register interest in events you wish to support, we will then acknowledge you. Please connect with us on social media for latest updates.

A. Yes you will need to bring a valid DBS certificate with you, the ACT certificate as well as a driving licence /  passport.

Q. How old do I need to be?

A. You must be over 18 on the first day you arrive on site.

A. Anyone is welcome, we have a very diverse workforce which we are proud of. A mix of ages and cultures is important to us and our clients. What’s important though is a reasonable level of fitness and a positive attitude to offer great service with a smile.

Q. How and when will I find out if I have a position at an event?

A. Your application will be assessed and positions applied for will be allocated by Fest Buddies. For events months away we will contact you nearer the time, howeverfor events due to take place within 2 months you should receive a confirmation from Fest Buddies within 72 hours of expressing interest. Positions are filled based on previous commitment and reliability, then on a first-come first-served basis. Refusal to an application is at the owners discretion.

Q. How will my shifts be organised at the festival?

A. Volunteer shifts are allocated before the event. We will provide details on the shift timings and role allocation prior to the event in most cases by email. This will be organised as fairly as possible to ensure everyone gets involved in each area requiring support.

A. We use email mainly, but ask you to check Spam and Junk and ensure you accept Fest Buddies as a trusted source on your settings. If you haven' heard from us its likely you have an email in Spam and Junk. We also set up Whats App groups to communicate with the group once planning has started
